Outside my bedroom window two neighborhood cats hang out near my house.  This morning the orange cat is sitting at attention looking into the tall grasses, waiting.  Go get them I say to the cat.

Went to Safeways this morning to buy some heavy stuff, a gallon of milk, two tins of coffee and a case of sparkling water. I put them in the car and at home carefully unloaded the items.  Now I am tired and the day has just begun.

Before lunch with my friends in Pacific Grove I add five books to their little free library outside of their home. Really good books including two Wallace Stegner books.  I encourage my friends to see if they can tell which books I added.
