It helps to not wear my glasses in the kitchen and bathroom to avoid seeing the wondering tiny ants.

Shiny leaves along Highway 1 going through Carmel.  Poison oak plants looking quite appealing.

I finished reading ANGLE OF REPOSE.  One of the saddest books about marriage and family that I have read in a long time.

Outside the Marina Library stands a cell tower rising above the tree line. The library building is set in a field full of wildflowers and cypress trees.
