     Waiting for the beauty shop to open, I sit in my car and listen to the current podcast with Ezra Klein show. Burned out, Start here. Oliver Burkeman is a great guest. I highly recommend this podcast.

     Time for my yearly haircut. I arrive with three other customers and wait my turn.  One middle aged guy has a restless dog on a leash, pulling, twisting, and barking. I say I am afraid of dogs but he doesn’t hear me.  I move as far away as possible. The dog is then tied to a chair and starts more barking. The man tells the dog to stop barking. No such luck. Then they are gone and I get a great haircut. The hair cutter says this dog’s barking is better than last week’s hound dog howling.

     I drive to Hartnell center for lab work. Yes the UTI is gone. The antibiotics worked.

     An artist visits and talks with me in the late afternoon. Her work is good. I talk about writing and she talks about her exploration of different mediums. I am feeling stronger.
