     The two hour Instacart delivery takes longer than usual. I place the order at 9 and at 3 the order arrives. Must have been a busy day. I can’t complain, after all there are no surprise items in the bags. I do miss my usual early afternoon nap while waiting for the delivery.

     I don’t usually feed visitors. I can hardly feed myself.  But sometimes I will offer a can of ensure to a hungry friend. I buy ensure by the case from amazon along with bags of unsalted almonds, minced dried fruit, and licorice.

     My personal librarian brings more books and stays to watch TV with me.  We watch two episodes of TRUE DETECTIVE, SEASON 4. A dark cold winter story set in Alaska. This is my second time watching it. She drinks a can of ensure and eats chips, dried fruit and mixed nuts.

     I am now reading CREATION LAKE by Rachel Kushner, a complicated spy thriller. I can only read this book when I am fully awake. The story is complicated and the ideas unexpected.
