Went to bank to deposit refund checks.  A friendly place for old people like me who like to use cash. They tease me, are you still driving, they ask.  Of course, I love to drive.  And then they give me my cash.

At Super Cuts I have my annual haircut.  The long straggly gray hairs are cut into a short bob and I am set, looking normal again. I am getting ready to return to cancer treatment next week.  Sigh.

Later a long time old friend brings me an apple fritter.  I love apple fritters. The epidemic stopped our times together but now we are back.  We both laugh a lot.

I smile when I watch the news of the former president’s being charged with felony crimes.  Then I watch episode three of LINE OF DUTY.
