I wake up to the sun shinning into my bedroom. Surprise, the sun says, I bet you thought I was gone forever.  I did, I did.  I get up, start my coffee, open windows and doors to air out the house. I check the horizon to see if there are hidden clouds. I feel light and healthy.

My repaired deck is beautiful.  The so called handyman is a master in working with wood. The rest of the house now looks a bit shabby. He is careful, thorough, skilled.

The former teenager and I watched MARCEL THE SNAIL WITH SHOES, on Showtime.  There is no easy way to describe this hidden gem, just watch it and feel good. My daughter also recommends OTTER DYNASTY on HBO, another weird documentary.

I am reading LIVES OF THE WIVES, Five literary Marriages, by Carmela Ciuraru. So much better than I expected.
