The results of the PET scan are now on MY Chart. The urologist writes there is no evidence of cancer at this time, good news. A relief but still I will be treated for cancer for the next two years with immunotherapy.  The treatments are damaging and painful, the cancer’s presence has been invisible to me.

I am keeping a list of all the times I say No to the medical world.  Pages of notes now.

Water the front yard in the morning.  Fill the bird bath bowl.  The squirrels are racing around the trees and jumping onto my roof. They are busy chewing off the tips of the bottle bush flowers.

The former teenager is home for the weekend.  My health plan is now to eat an orange and an apple a day. Yesterday I included cherries.
