The cream puff guy brings me fresh cherries and, yes, four cream puffs.  Then he takes my car to fill up the gas tank and to check the tires. I did drive myself to and from the PET SCAN building at Ryan Ranch on Thursday morning. I am an expert on nine different medical waiting rooms. Also, nine parking lots. I have my favorites.

Today I plan to look over my notes about medical life to prepare for Saturday’s talk with my friend Guy at Cherry Center.  I want to be real rather than entertaining. A lot of what has happened to me is boring, weird, and funny. I do feel anxious today.

I am starting to read THE CLOISTERS, a recommended novel by Katy Hays. I have started various books recently only to put them down and search for something else.

I am watching the Prime series CASE HISTORIES, based on the books by Kate Atkinson.  A friend and I talk endlessly about worthwhile and good enough TV shows. It’s hard to find what we want.
