         Many family visits on Saturday, conversations, TV watching, eating and more conversations.  The tall guy cooked a delicious salmon dinner. Today will be a quieter day, a time to regroup and take out garbage.

         I remind my family that the physical pain and exhaustion are caused by the cancer treatments, not the cancer itself. The cancer feels abstract since I don’t have a body experience of it. The treatments are planned for the next two years.

         A pair of blue jays sport around the oak tree in the back yard, the wood peckers are in the tall pine trees in the front. Few song birds around.  The crows now drink water from the bird bath.

         We watch the annual White House correspondence dinner talks last night. Roy Wood Jr is the funny comedian. Biden’s talk is good, not so funny. I am craving humor these days.
