I love my new radio. I listen to just one station KDFC, 103.9 fm. A classical music station. I just turn it on and wonderful music comes out. I don’t have to make any decisions or hook up any auxiliary equipment. When I show the radio to friends, they act confused. Of course they know about radios but nobody listens any more except in cars. But I listen and love it.
It is unsettling to be again in a weekly treatment program for six weeks, and then waiting for another six week to learn if the treatment works.
This morning I eat dried apricots and cherries in my hot oatmeal. Another rainy day. My taste buds are returning and I savor the fruit.
I haven’t given up on NEW AMSTERDAM, although the writing is not so good in the third season. I am also liking VIENNA BLOOD, a pbs masterpiece theater show. Finished reading the long, long book, CLOUD CUCKOO LAND by Anthony Doerr. Very satisfying after a slow start.
