Early morning, the streets are wet with dripping fog. My dirty car is damp.  The birds are up and around.

I keep asking, what are we going to do to help the new wave of homelessness that will come as people lose their homes. Where will the older women park their cars, set up their tents?  How will they stay safe in our community?

I wanted to watch THE FIGHT, the ACLU documentary, on Amazon last night but after watching the news I didn’t have the stamina to see anything else.

The teenager and I keep the doors and windows open at home. We dress in warm clothes and hope the sun comes out. We are upping the chances that we will stay safe and healthy.
