Gloom is in the air, circling the house, covering the yard.  Even my car is coated with gloom. 

The car wash is open, time to get the car clean again. Time to sit by the ocean and wonder about life and what this is all about.

The two little girls come out after dinner with their father to ride scooters and play hide and seek. They discover a hidden clearing in my front garden.  Their father pretends not to see them as they giggle.

I finished Eula Biss book last night.  I have ordered another book by her.
