I address postcards for our benefit event at Montrio Bistro
next month to acknowledge checks received in the mail. I write thank you notes
for donations. I put the extra cars and
stamps back in the box until next week.
Friends came over to my house for lunch today. We meet weekly at different homes bringing
our own food and we talk and sometimes laugh. We are older and now need each
other to remember the names of whatever we are talking about. We speak loudly to make sure no one is left
out and after lunch we go home for our naps.
I lent two of my favorite books to a fellow reader, but now
I can’t remember the book names. They
are my favorite books.
I finally opened some of the Amazon boxes and put away the stuff.
Nothing really interesting. I put the
boxes in the recycle can for tomorrow’s pick up. The three cans are now by the road waiting
patiently for the trucks. We all hope
the raccoons do not come and tip them over.
Third rat is dead. My
system is working.
Still reading the STAND.
One friend read all of it and was so sorry she had because it was so
scary. I am half way through the book.
