     Halloween today.  I do have a bowl of cute candy just in case.  It has been years since kids knocked on my door.  The culture has changed. I did watch little kids in costumes at the park on Thursday. Still, I want to see more little kids. 

      Maybe I will go back to the park soon. Luckily, I look like a little old harmless lady, so not threatening to anyone. Secretly I am wonder woman full of surprises and intrigues. I am encouraged reading DANGEROUS, DIRTY, VIOLENT AND YOUNG by Zayd Ayers Dohrn. And the ICE thugs are operating in our county now.

     The birds are fussing around in the bottle bush trees. And most of the pyracantha berries have been eaten. The front patio is covered with leaves. Military airplanes fly low overhead. Commercial planes also but it is the military planes that are the concern.  Several deer continue to hang out in our neighborhood.

     We need some fresh new TV series to watch together.  I like detective stories, particularly British. My roommate wants something different. I am waiting for new shows to arrive. Maybe it is time to watch some good movies or some science fiction non violent shows if they exist. I am tired of the news or not news, predicting the election. We are all holding our breaths as we wait for the Tuesday’s election.
