     My professor sibling is visiting for a couple of days. We are both in our eighty’s. She visits regularly, checking how her siblings are doing. We are doing well and we are old and have old age issues. Bodies are fragile and sometimes I have a hard time understanding what we are talking about. Maybe it is time to get my hearing checked.

     We have a long conversation about ear wax cleaning and toe nail clipping. They are encouraging me but I am not sure where this work is done. My PCP doctor says he does not clean ears and neither does anyone on his staff. The suggestion is to go to Urgent Care for ear wax cleaning. Urgent care charges $1000 a visit to my insurance. What our family needs is a skilled family member nurse.

     Professionals in my family are mostly legal experts and photographers.  One sibling doctor in our family, but I am not sure he would clean out my ear wax. I have never asked.

     The professor and I watch episodes of season one, THE PITT. We both are intrigued with emergency rooms. My roommate is getting ready for the Saturday Teach In event. Hundreds of people have signed up to learn how to protect our communities From the ICE invasion, and have effective protest events. Also, she tells me, it is time to focus on the upcoming elections.
