     Now I remember why I have a heater.  Cold front arrives, some rain and cold air. Need to add blankets to my bed tonight. No heater when we sleep. More clouds this morning, maybe more rain.  Only one leak in the bathroom.

     I cry as the hostages are hugged by their families. And then again with the prisoners being hugged by their family. Lots of tears and shouting. Maybe I need to hugged. No way to know if the war is really over in Gaza.  I have temporarily forgotten about the war in Ukraine. And what about the Epstein files? I am losing track of the story.

     We spend hours searching Amazon for the best costumes for the NO KING RALLY on Saturday.  Really, if Portland can do it so can we. Two kinds, inflatable costumes and pajama costumes.  Frogs, bears, walruses are my favorite. If Portland can do it so can we. Of course, we are a military town so it is more difficult to be silly and be funny. My roommate found the perfect costume.

     We watch another episode of MAIGRET and of WEDNESDAY.  WEDNESDAY is definitely funnier. Started reading Isabel Allende newest book MY NAME IS EMILIA DEL VALLE.  I need a book that is a bit more complicated and intense.
