     The sun comes out in the afternoon. Both of my kids show up at different times to visit. I receive flowers and a fabulous cookie, and help with bringing in heavy boxes and taking out trash. And of course, warm conversations.  Life is good

     I water the front yard. In the late afternoon. I do my PT exercises and walk on the deck. I wonder how I am going to die. I do feel alive and well, but I am old and sick. There is no answer to this question. A neighbor comes by with more cookies and neighborhood news.

     I start reading THE FIVE INVITATIONS, Discovering What Death Can Teach Us About Living Fully, by Frank Ostaseski.  I realize I have read it before and still it is captivating.    A reminder of the beauty and sorrows of living.

     I start watching the new Agatha Christi show on Acorn. TOWARDS ZERO. An interesting but not so good mystery series.  Not much provocative news on the TV.
