      Today, our first heat wave of the year. But my bedroom is still cold in the morning. I feel so indulgent turning on the heater to take off the chill.  I am resistant to taking my breakfast to a sun drenched room when I am most comfortable in my cold bedroom.  

     I am now reading two serious novels. I am a serious person trying to understand what is going on. Alan Furst’s novel MISSION TO PARIS set in Paris 1938 when the Nazis were taking over Europe. The other, CARELESS PEOPLE, by Sarah Wynn Williams, a memoir of the craziness of working at Facebook during the 21 century.  So what is going on today, I just don’t know.

     BritBox is dropping episodes of LUDWIG weekly. We were ready to watch it all this week. Sigh. We watch the first two faux serious episodes of THE RESIDENCE on netflix. All episodes are available.

     I am still very tired. I do my PT exercises in the morning and walk a bit several times a day. I am waiting for the surge of aliveness to kick in. I will feel better when I finish completing my income tax forms.
