     The excitement of the election is still running strong.  I am on the losing side. My personal goal is to not hate the winners. All year I have been aware of how hard it is to not hate the other side. To feel that I am right.  Now is the time to listen to what is actually going on. And to live with this grief.

     Cold mornings here, and then the sun slowly warms up the neighborhood. It looks like the construction work may be ending soon after two years of noise and trucks. No dogs barking yet this morning. Sirens in the distance.  We are still in fire season.

     My friends are tired. It is hard to pay attention to the beautiful fall weather.

     I did sit outside in the late afternoon and do my chair exercises. My kind daughter shows up and joins me. We marvel at the familiar pine trees. I was going to start physical therapy for strengthening, but had to waive it because of continuing chemo treatment.
