Adjusting to being alone takes the whole day. I aimlessly straighten up the living room, start the laundry, walk on the deck. I don’t sleep during nap time. My Sunday times doesn’t show up outside. The day is too long.
I don’t sleep well last night. Can’t find a comfortable position. I take my temperature to see if maybe I am sick. No sickness found. Finally, I must have gone to sleep because suddenly the room is bright with sunlight. The dog is barking in the neighborhood.
I start reading the second murderbot book, ARTIFICIAL CONDITION by Martha Wells. Also, I am in the middle of several other books.
I watch the latest David Letterman interview with John Mahoney on netflix. It is good enough to stay until the end. Then it was back to my familiar series, THE RESIDENT and UGLY BETTY.
