     The personal librarian arrives with more books and take out Chinese food for dinner.  We eat, talk, and then settle in to watch TOP OF THE LAKE on hulu. A Jane Campion production. It is quirky and intense. This is the second time for me.

    My west coast daughter asks what I want for mother’s day. A visit and conversation I respond.  Within the hour I also text her, please, a slice of carrot cake from Rosine’s. I am deep into the three “C’s”. conversations, cookies and cake.

     I do the usual house hold chores, folding laundry, taking out garbage bags, washing dishes, making my bed.  I am almost ready for something new.

     I am walking on my deck without my cane, at least part of the time. But I am still very tired.  Should I be wearing an apple watch if I fall and need help. I wonder who else uses a watch for safety.
