I received a phone
call telling me to wear a mask at the cancer center, a new requirement. I am not
comfortable in masks. But I will wear the mask.
My daughter and
her partner spend the evening with me. I
have electricity and they do not. They are not sure when their electricity will
be restored. Outside, Monterey is dark.
I watch the first
episode of UGLY BETTY, an old TV series.
Of course, I had heard about the show, but never watched it. But now it is wonderful for these dark times.
I continue to
read MEAN SPIRIT by Linda Hogan. The
book gets better and better. Published in 1990, the library book is fragile and
beginning to fall apart. The writing is superb.
