     Cream puff guy arrives with 4 yummy creampuffs, in the afternoon.  The personal librarian brings Thai soup for dinner.  We watch another episode of SLOW HORSES and UGLY BETTY. I wonder if they could make a single movie using both of these wonderful characters.

     Another day of building stories based on what I think I know about the chemo treatment on Monday. It has to be easier than these imagined stories.

     I start reading HOW DOCTORS THINK, BY Dr. Jerome Groopman, Reading is part of my quest to understand what is happening to me. It is difficult to accept not knowing.

     The days are getting longer.  Pine trees are sprouting candles, soon there will be yellow pollen on the ground. My neighborhood is lit up at night with the power back. A few fruit trees on Pacific Street are filled with pink blossoms.
