I like art work that includes laundry. It warms my heart to see women’s work included in the pictures.

 Spent time in the morning sitting in my car at San Carlos Beach. Blue ocean, birds and a large scale water rescue operation with boats, fire engines, ambulances, dozens of people watching. I think it was a practice rescue.

I have come into contact with a lot of new medical and anatomy words this year. I now write them down so I can talk with medical people. The words have a way of disappearing in my mind.

THE RIGHT TO SEX: FEMINISM IN THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY by Amia Srinivasan is the latest new book to read. I am interested in where women’s lives are heading now.
