I wake up several times a night in the middle of intense
vivid dreams as my mind and body attempt to make sense of the last couple of
months. Now I am well and strong enough
to really look at what happened.
Yesterday was a quiet day at home. My daughter was in San Francisco for her work.
A long phone conversation with a friend who lives out of
town. We caught up on news and I was able to tell my latest version of my life with
medical drama. I am looking forward to having new stories to tell that aren’t
so dramatic.
THE BOOK OF FORM AND EMPTINESS, a novel by Ruth Ozeki. Finally, a book that is compelling and interesting. She is one of my favorite authors.
