The heater turns on and off in the cold foggy mornings.  Sometimes I even close the windows. I have an ambivalent relationship to my old gas heater. It is late September and I expect warmth from the sun.

There are few new stories here.  It is time to get out of the house into the real world. I miss going to coffee houses to write and ease drop on strangers’ lives.

I will eligible for a booster vaccination shot in the near future. Also, time for a flu shot. Soon not yet.

I am on a Laura Lippman binge, reading through her many Tess Monaghan mysteries. And then again, I read chapters of the nonfiction serious books about star gazing and intensive care issues.
