I have developed a close personal relationship with the medical portal, MY CHART. Messages, tests results, reminders pop up all the time. MY CHART loves me and keeps me up to date. There are no secrets with MY CHART.

As I stay at home I begin to see the worn spots in the carpets and the linoleum, the faded paint on the walls, the messy book shelves.  It is too late to upgrade before I start this current treatment.

I tell my friends, what could go wrong with two surgeons and a robot. Sounds like a comedy routine. Sometimes they laugh and sometimes they don’t.

My daughter is planning to fly from New England on Wednesday if the hurricane doesn’t close down the airports. She plans to work from my house and be with me for a month.
