I picked up the current New Yorker and was excited to read
two pieces. Peter Hessler reports on
teaching in China during the epidemic and Jon Lee Anderson talks about his
early life exploring the world. Both writers
are my favorites. Has the New Yorker improved or have I improved?
Red tinted shadows this morning. What I thought was fog is really smoke from
the river fire.
Time to fold and hang up clothes accumulating on the bedroom
floor.
A neighbor’s dog barked for hours last night.
