Car week starts this weekend, maybe I should call it car
wars for those of us who live here and hear the invasion of loud fast cars and
mobs of people on the sidewalks.
I back into the parking space at Trader Joes. I am straddling the white line. Good enough.
Shopping with old people who are getting ready to be off the roads for
ten days of car week
The grocery clerk asked me how my day was going. I said I was waiting for the sun to
shine. For weeks now the afternoon
sunshine is infrequent. Today the sun never came out.
A friend recommended the book THE CHOICE, embrace the
possible by Dr. Edith Eva Eger. Last night I picked it up from the crowded
table. Umm I think I will like it.
