This morning I notice the old oak tree has recently been trimmed to accommodate the wires from my house to the telephone pole.

I walk around the side of the Cherry Center, through the gap in the fence, up the cement ramp to the back door.  Inside is a group of people settling down for a meeting.  I am grateful for the gentle ramp up to the door.

I tell my kind friends about a new exiting book, UNDERLAND by Robert McFarlane.  You have to read this book, it has changed how I experience living on the surface of the earth. I expect they will start avoiding me soon.
