Saturday evening, doors and windows open as I cool the house
slowly. Still too warm to sleep. Sounds of fire trucks in the distance.
I watched KNOCKDOWN THE HOUSE, a documentary about the 2018
election for the fourth time. Still is
exciting. I am preparing my 17 year old granddaughter to be a lifelong voter.
I talk at a class Saturday morning and at the end I am not
sure what I talked about. The words came
out of me and bypass my memory.
I am back to reading the light weight paperback THE DISTANT MIRROR
by Barbara Tuchman. Such an interesting read about the 14th century.
