The frail plucky apple tree now has a few blossoms. I guess I cannot cut it down this year.

Last year I read THE OVERSTORY by Richard Powers and loved it. I had borrowed it from the library and reluctantly returned it. This morning in the NYT book review I see it is out in paperback and I am struggling with the desire to buy it.  I suspect I will not read it again but that does not stop me from wanting it in my pile of books. Living with greatly loved books is a joy.
