After weeks of missed phone calls and messages from my
daughter, we agree to phone each other at a certain time today if we don’t
forget. I am charging my phone now to be
ready.
Perhaps today I will do my income tax. I check out the dinning room table and
realize it is raining and gloomy. I
always do my taxes when the sun is out and the room warm. I still have time.
While shopping at Trader Joes this morning the dazzling sun appeared. Dark puddles and dripping trees. Very damp.
Clouds in the distance, so not sure how long sun will visit us.
I am now vicariously living in Alaska with the book THE SUN
IS A COMPASS. The perfect book for me, a woman’s voice, an exciting trip though
the wildernesses in Alaska.
