A slow squirrel moves through the tangled limbs of the Bottle Bush tree. This tree is the playground for the small birds and hummers. The birds are quick and move out of the squirrel’s way.
My heater stops working. My house this morning is cold. We are waiting for the sun to warm us up. The talented handyman is coming today to see about the heater. It is only 30 years old. Should be fixable.
My BLOGGER posts have 10,000 hits this month, again, mostly from Asia. Our family computer engineer laughs and says it is just Bots training for AI. I think it is fourth graders studying English in Singapore and Hong Kong. No one knows so I get to choose. These students are learning English to get better trade deals with the United States.
We watch the last episode of season 1 of WEDNESDAY. We love it. And of course, Monday night is Rachel Maddow news night. A chance for some optimism in our dreadful government lock down, and violent ICE raids, and the president social media posts. I am reading the intriguing book, SECOND LIFE, having a child in the digital age, by Amanda Hess.
