     An unexpected visit from the traveling guys.  Old friends from the past. They walk into the house with smiles and hugs, and we resume our conversations from years ago.  We had worked together on studying the plight of homeless women on the Peninsula. But now we talk about medical issues and traveling.  They travel a lot and I have the medical issues. I tell them about the fabulously designed European walkers and they tell me about their winter trip to Africa.

     The day stays cloudy with a few sprinkles. Today the sun is bright and the sky is clear. It is amazing we live on this planet traveling though unimaginable space around the sun. My mind just doesn’t understand.

     We watch another episode of THE MORNING NEWS. The story is becoming a bit clearer but still a messy plot. We will persist. Four more weekly episodes.

     I start reading two new books, the nonfiction book, THE SPELL OF THE SENSUOUS by David Abram. Slow reading, exploration of human life and nature.  The second book, THE BURIAL PLACE a British mystery novel by Stig Abell.
