A friend is outside her home. Her keys are in the locked home.  She reminds me she gave me a key to her house years ago.  I find the key, surprisingly, and give it back to her.  She is in her house now.

The High School stadium lights are on in the evening. The lights don’t touch my home even though I see them in the distance.  So much controversy and now here they are. I am mourning the destruction of the east wing of the White House. How could he do this. And the government is still shut down, so many families needing food.

We watch the last episode of THE DIPLOMAT on netflix.  What a fabulous show. Not believable but funny and compelling. I finish reading Ruth Rendell’s thriller A JUDGEMENT IN STONE. A compelling book.  My personal librarian brings over move books and we get to enjoy our conversation.

October is just about over and soon I start talking again to doctors and agreeing or not agreeing to more treatment. I am feeling good. Still have an arthritic knees and clumsy walking. I am not on any pain medication. I am doing well actually. Not sure what I am going to do in November.
