     This cold wet weather is going to last forever. Was there a before warm time.  My daughter comes by in the afternoon and encourages me to sit outside with her. I put on my green puffer jacket and we sit and talk.  I wear a hat to shade my eyes form the sun.  My body becomes alive to the warm sun.

     J H. replaces the broken door knob and then works on removing termite damaged wood outside. My house has been twice tented the house with poison in the last 50 years, and now we are going after the termites with power tools. In medical language first we use chemotherapy and now surgery to defeat the termites. I know it is a losing battle.

     Physical therapy is cancelled at the last minute due to power outage at the building. I go back to bed. A day off for me. Next week I return for more treatment. Today I will resume my exercise routine.

     I finish reading ORDINARY GRACE by William Kent Krueger. I feel weepy and happy reading this book. The book engages both my mind and my body. I am not sure how that works.
