I go to three different doctor appointments this last week. Three different doctors, all good talented people, each focusing on a different part of my body. Urology, oncology and primary care.  I am missing something that I can’t quite name. Is there someone to help me look at my whole body and mind, maybe physically and also philosophically. Is there such a thing as a medical philosopher who can work with us.

I forget that each day is a new day. I fall into the sameness of every day and don’t open my eyes to daily life. My new passport arrived in the mail. My old passport expired decades ago.

I am reading Teresa Dovalpage’s novel, QUEEN OF BONES, a detective story based in Cuba, my way to travel. Written by a woman who grew up in Cuba and writes about Havana. I am continuing to read the non fiction book THE COST OF FREE LAND.

Time for the second episode of the nutty South Korean medical series THE TRAUMA CODE on netflix. I keep watching hoping to understand why I watch it. I finely changed the setting to dubbed English, so I can watch action.
