My third medical appointment of the week is good. My primary doctor has moved into a new spacious light filled office. The waiting room is the best I have seen. I get to wave to a baby girl who sits across the room on her young sister’s lap. The parents and the wheelchaired grandmother are with the doctor. My time with the doctor is encouraging as usual. My blood pressure is too high so need new medication. He treats me as if I am going to live for awhile.
I am reading a new book THE COST OF FREE LAND, Jews, Lakota and an American inheritance. A non fiction book by Rebecca Clarren. I think I can stick with this one.
I watched the first part of Rachel Maddow show Thursday evening. I am not sure I can stick with it for 100 days of reporting on the President’s craziness. I realize I only want to hear of his failures and mistakes.
My very much alive old friend comes to visit again. He has been sick for a couple of months. He usually visits frequently. We have been friends for 54 years. Now we are back to our conversations and friendship.
