     I dream of having a house manager to maintain my home. But it is me. So this morning I send a message to Juan the handyman asking for his help with my tricky guest toilet.  It works most of the time but not all the time. And the visiting family members next week will want to have a reliable toilet.  Sigh.  Never ends.

     I also been turning a blind eye to the leak in the skylight and the signs of termites. Long term problems but important.

     I finally finished the Palestinian murder mystery novel. MURDER UNDER THE BRIDGE. An interesting story but a bit too complicated. Maybe life is like that now in the West Bank.

   We have watched 6 episodes of GENTLEMAN FROM MOSCOW. Tonight, we will watch the last two episodes before the historian returns home. Other family members will be arriving in a couple of days. I am ready to start wrapping the international detective novels gifts.
