     My family tells me to renew my passport now. It expired over ten years ago when I refused to travel again. Now to find my birth certificate to show it is me and that I am still alive. Sigh. 

     I know how to do this today.  This is my thirty first chemo infusion day. I am restless last night as I try to sleep. Before leaving today, I need to prepare for my return.  Garbage out, bins to the road. Fold and put away clean laundry from the drier. Prepare some food to eat later in the day. I don’t expect any surprises this time.

     The rain starts in the morning, real rain not just a few dribbles. The rain bucket in the bathroom waits for the skylight leak. There are lots of good reasons why this has not been fixed.

     I am back to reading GUIDE ME HOME, a detective story by Attica Locke. And last night another episode of the MARLOW MURDERS on PBS and an episode of LINCOLN LAWYER on netflix. Enough of murder and mayhem for now. I am also continuing to eat my Halloween Reese’s candy.
