So many Art pictures flow through my facebook feed. My eyes are drawn to laundry pictures, sometimes the central focus and sometimes hidden in the corners. Doing laundry is central to living and yet is frequently hidden from the art world. It is women’s work.

My Photographer daughter is visiting for a couple of days. Always a treat to hear stories of life outside of Monterey. She gave me a new puffy jacket to stay warm this winter.

Am I feeling better? It is hard to answer. Tired and functioning, is how it goes.

I am inviting the women in my family over for a Saturday dinner.  Today it is time to clear off the table and put stuff away. Mostly it is books and boxes that overwhelm me.
