Sleep does not come easily last night. After a long restlessness I turn on the light and sit in my reading chair. Crackers and milk soothe my mind. Read an article in the current new Yorker. Back in bed I sleep easily.
I start reading MY FATHER’S BRAIN, life in the shadow of Alzheimer’s a memoir by Sandeep Jauhar. I may not continue. Too scary to be an old person and read about the agony of dementia. Too close. Actually, I prefer to read about museums.
I start watching an Australian sitcom, FRICK. Only 6 half hour episodes. Nothing scary about this show.
A friend is visiting for a couple of days. She is involved in various activities in town. She tells me about her adventures. The photographer guy sends us ad astra bread and strawberries. The days are slow as I wait for my next medical procedure on Thursday.
