         Wake up to sun this morning after months of fog.  The fog is hovering in the distance. I slept deeply last night and now slowly awaking. Dogs outside are howling. Some barking.  Construction crew for neighbor’s house is arriving in their loud trucks.

         Started reading WATER LIKE STONE by Deborah Crombie.  This is one book in a series of police procedurals with the same group of characters.  I am becoming attached to these fictional folks.

         It is difficult to cheat on internet solitaire.  I try but the program doesn’t let me.  I play game after game and now think the game controllers have a plan of usage that I don’t understand or control. Some games are easy to win but others are impossible.  Their intent is to compel me look at their ads on the side of the screen. Still, I persist in playing the game.

         My charming daughter is now working at a world class local nonprofit organization. The Executive Director is a talented and effective leader.
