The painful procedure is quick. No cancer found. Now to plan B, three weekly immunotherapies with BCG starting again in September. The doctor says I am a trooper. Now time for a nap. Many naps. My poor bladder is beaten.
The scarlet eucalyptus tree near Stoke adobe has startling bright flowers. The Mexican sage plants near Hartnell building are tired and dusty. I put away the outdoor chair cushions in anticipation of the forecast of possible rain.
I am continuing to read SNOW by John Banville but first a nap.
Actually, all I want to do today is take naps.
