The neighbor stops by in the late afternoon with newspaper clippings he thinks I will like.  I do like them.

A new Television.  My east coast daughter picks up the TV and sets it up in my living room. I am now learning the new maneuvers to make it bend to my will. My mind has to adjust to the larger size and brightness. I am grateful. The old TV will go to the former teenager for her college apartment.

Breakfast at Lou Lou’s on the wharf with local daughter. We sit outside in the sun.  Fog is in the distance.  Sea gulls and pigeons. The menu prices surprise me. It has been several years since eating in a restaurant. Tiny steps to becoming healthy again.

My personal librarian is on vacation. I miss her steady presence and help.
