I am sitting in the living room witnessing the east coast family hustle to pack and leave after a week’s visit.  Showers, breakfast, looking for lost items. A few sharp words. Stuff being put away. Everyone busy and stressed.  Leaving is a challenge. For the first time, no plumbing problems during the visit.

We squeeze together for the traditional selfies under the bottle bush tree. Smile, click, click. And then thy are gone.

Washing machine and driers are running with towels and sheets. They are good at cleaning the house and washing the dishes before they leave.  I have no complaints.

I place an order at Instacart for some of my favorite foods.
