Cold calm early morning.  Heavy thick fog dampens the sounds of the crows outside.  It is a treatment day but there are no longer any surprises.  I know how to do this and I am not fighting it today. Number 15, BCG infusion. Cold enough to turn on the heater in the house. All day I will be focused on doing this right and then tomorrow will be anew day.

Two visitors yesterday.  Long kind conversations in the living room, me in the recliner, the friend in the rocking chair.

My sister has finally tested negative for COVID and can resume her life in Marin County.

I finish reading THE COVENANT OF WATER, all 700 pages.  Complicated and gratifying.  I can’t quite shake the feeling that I am still living in a village in South India.
