The late afternoon sun is accompanied by gusts of cold wind whipping the trees.

The Friday New York times has an exhaustive list of new summer books.   Too many listed books for me to review. I can’t get my mind around all the possibilities.

In the late afternoon I take a short walk to the mail box and then, down the street. I am walking without a cane mostly. Time to start longer walks. Last year at this time I couldn’t walk to the mail box.

I am still watching LINE OF DUTY on prime.  It just gets more and more intense. Sometimes I turn off the sound to avoid the scary parts. Other times I close my eyes.
