It is no longer news that this May morning is foggy and cold again, maybe the sun will come out for an hour in the afternoon. It is hard to have a fresh view of the new day. The blue jay and the squirrel are still at it in the bottle bush tree, bouncing on the limbs and keeping each other in sight.

Two friends come to visit in the late afternoon. We talk for several hours. We could probably talk all night if I didn’t get tired.

It is time for me to get serious about a plumber.  The other toilet keeps leaking and the sounds of the toilet refilling is annoying. I wanted the perfect solution so I didn’t do anything.

I love this book. I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS FOR YOU by Rebecca Makkai.  It took awhile to get into the story but now I keep thinking about these fictional people.
